I recently acquired (thanks to an amazing friend) a sketchbook that has what appears to be a parchment-like paper in it. Both she (my friend) and I bind our own sketchbooks, and this one wasn't doing a thing for her- so she gave it to me.
Wasgo is a North West Pacific Native American mythological creature that is half wolf, half orca, with three dorsal fins on his back, fins coming out his floggs, and burning red eyes. In legend, these creatures would terrorize the coastal villages, eat orca, and were sometimes reared by the villagers if mistaken for wolf pups [when young].
Assignment for Life Drawing class.
I realized that I have not posted anything in a while- since I am crazy-busy at Sheridan.
Continuing with my "SW creatures", this was the last one I had time to do before I began work on other things. I hope to be able to do more as the new [College/Uni] year starts, as I have a couple of lecture classes to attend, and I'll probably be doodling in them to take a break from my film production work.
Originally this was a Layout for a commissioned piece. However, sometimes I get good inspirations/concepts that can easily be turned into portfolio pieces.
Some recent images I did lately were dabbling in different styles. I like challenging myself into getting out of "my style" and concentrating on others that are polar opposites.

I did this quick sketch for a friend as a "thank you" for her kind gesture. And that was, supplying me with dead things.
