I was asked to join a portfolio a couple of years back that was themed “beasts of Yore”. After the initial round of images were completed, we decided to go ahead for another round, and I put dibbs on “Werewolf”.
Here’s my prelim sketch. I’m making it out to look like an old scripture drawing- so I’ll probably be breaking out my ink well and pen nubs for this one.

Oh yea, I'm familiar with that history. I think your approach to this is brilliant....it just makes more sense to do that than the western european or native american "style" that's so popular today. Hurray for artists who know history! Can't wait to see this finished!

I am working on doing a series of painting based on European myth/history combined... it's a fun way to learn historical fact via some hobby interest. And it gives me the chance to draw up some crazy stuff. XD
